This is a fantastic achievement, for a side which has enabled progression to the 1st Team for many of its standout players this season; Reuben Rabstein, Ned Clarke, Luke Alfano and Isaac Ebelebe all making their mark in the senior side.
The side will now compete in the Champion of Champions playoff at Aveley on Friday 11th May, and also have a League Cup Semi-Final to look forward to before then which will be scheduled in due course.
    Congratulations to everyone involved!

The Mayor of Barnet attended the event, and raised awareness and much-needed funds for his chosen charity Homeless Action in Barnet.

  • New Signings

Wingate & Finchley are pleased to announce three new signings today:
Two left-backs are joining, following the recent departure of Nathan Mavila:
Firstly Jason Akiotu comes in - a 19-year old left back from Nigeria who is a youth product of Crystal Palace.
Also joining is Layne Eadie, who arrives on a one month loan deal from National League South's St Albans City.
Finally, well-reputed Albanian striker Irnti Rapai also joins from the National League South, making the move from Weston Super Mare.

  • New Signing

Wingate & Finchley are delighted to announce the return of Freddy Moncur.
The midfielder has enjoyed two successful loan spells at Summers Lane in recent seasons and, this time, joins the Blues after being released by Leyton Orient last week.
Able to play in deeper and attacking midfield positions, Moncur brings goals and creativity to the side; traits that were evident in his three league goals in last season's stint at the Maurice Rebak Stadium.
We look forward to Freddy's return to the Club and hope he can pick up where he left off last season.

  • Nathan Mavila

Wingate & Finchley can confirm that left-back Nathan Mavila has left the club for National League side, Leyton Orient.
Mavila joined the club in July 2017 after leaving Wealdstone, going on to play 43 games in all competitions; the highest of any player in the squad to date this season. The memories of his two goals for the club will no doubt be usurped by his assist for our dramatic late winner at Dulwich Hamlet in January.
Nathan leaves Wingate & Finchley with the best wishes of everyone at the Club and we hope to see him enjoy a successful career at Leyton Orient.

  • Signing

Wingate & Finchley are delighted to announce the loan signing of Vanarama National midfielder James Mulley. The 29 year old is a versatile midfielder, who has been playing at Maidenhead United for the past three years.
Having been sought after by a number of clubs from the Bostik Premier and the Vanamara leagues, we are proud to have captured his signature and he will greatly complement our midfield.
He joined Yeading FC at the age of 16, progressing to become Hayes & Yeading’s longest-serving player. He then had spells at AFC Wimbledon and more recently made over 100 appearances for Braintree Town.

In fact each player has played against the club, and both Keith Rowland and I took note and have quietly gone about our business trailing their pre-season. Nathan came to my attention on his release from West Ham but we initially failed to secure him and he went to Wealdstone and has featured in Hampton and Richmond's pre-season. Jake and Luke both played against us for Woking however I had already noted Jake at a showcase game and was keen to secure him.
