For the second time in 8 days, the AFA U18s travelled to Leeds to take on West Riding CFA U18s in the FA County Youth Cup Quarter-Finals. The squad included two players from the Wingate and Finchley under 18 team - Ross Weinreb and Aris Savva. After taking a 3-0 first half lead, West Riding battled their way back into the tie with 3 goals of their own in the second half. The score remained at 3-3 after extra time and the tie needed a penalty shoot-out for the second time in a week. The AFA held their nerve and triumphed 4-2 on penalties to seal a trip to Suffolk FA in the semi-finals next weekend (Saturday 22nd March).
