Blues Reprieved

It has been confirmed by the Ryman League today (Thursday), that Wingate & Finchley have been granted a reprieve from relegation and shall rejoin the Ryman Premier Division for season 2014/15. This follows the resignation of Worksop Town last Friday from the Northern Premier League, which left one spare place at Step 3 which comes to the Blues as the highest ranked team on 'points-per-game'. Chairman Aron Sharpe said: "We are pleased to have been granted a reprieve, although we find no pleasure that it be at another club's expense (namely Worksop Town). However, we shall grasp the opportunity with both hands and look forward to once again competing in the Ryman Premier Division. We wish Worksop Town well in their survival quest." Hayes & Yeading shall be moved across to the Southern Premier Division, whilst Ware move back into the Ryman League filling the gap created in Division One North.
