Entry Offer For Cray Game

Wingate & Finchley are offering residents in the N12 postal code area a chance to watch their vital relegation decider against Cray Wanderers for free this Saturday. The Blues, who sit one place above the Ryman Premier league relegation zone at the time of writing, are hoping a big crowd can help inspire them to an essential victory. Community Manager Mike Bayly commented: "the players make no secret of the fact a large vocal following can add extra momentum. We want to see as many local residents as possible come down and cheer the lads on. The club has had its roots at Summers Lane since the 1930's, so it seemed an appropriate gesture to get the local community involved for what could be a make or break game. We've worked hard to reach this level in the non-league pyramid and want to make every effort to stay there." Any supporters wishing to take advantage of the offer will need to show proof of residency (e.g. Utility bill) at the gate. For further information, please email mike@wingatefinchley.com
