FA Trophy Draw announced

Following Monday's draw, The Blues have discovered their fate in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy, and will travel to fellow Isthmian Premier League side Chatham Town on Saturday 5th October.

The FA Trophy has been running since 1969 and is open to all non-league sides in the top four divisions of the non-league pyramid (from National League to Step 4). In the first and second qualifying rounds which have taken place so far, only Step 4 sides have been in the competition, with ourselves and fellow Step 3 sides joining at this stage. Step 2 sides (NLN/NLS) join in the Second Round and National League sides join in the Third Round.

Last season the Blues entered, and exited, at this stage with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bury Town at the Maurice Rebak Stadium. Wingate & Finchley's best ever performance in the FA Trophy is the Second Round in 2018/19 where we beat Sittingbourne, Tiverton Town, Chippenham Town (in a replay) and Dulwich Hamlet before falling 4-2 to Hemel Hempstead in the Second Round (Last 32).
