We are pleased to announce the signing of Liam Smyth. The Northern Ireland U19 has signed a one year contract with the Blues, and we are thrilled to have him in our ranks.
Smyth, 19, is a young and extremely exciting forward and under the tutelage and guidance of Marc Weathers along with Ahmet Rifat, we have no doubt about his ability to fulfil his potential with us.
Weathers says:
“Liam had a few clubs after him this summer, but we are happy to get this over the line. He is young, hungry and can finish well, so I’m sure Liam will be a big addition to our squad.”
Smyth most recently appeared for Braintree Town in the National League South and is a product of the Stevenage FC academy.
