Wingate & Finchley's Maurice Rebak Stadium forms part of the route for March of The Day 2 which is taking place across three days in March and is raising funds for the Darby Rimmer Foundation for Motor Neurone Disease.
In 2024, the first event took place between Bradford and Liverpool, raising over £200,000 in the process. This year, the route will travel from Wembley to Ipswich Town, a 178 mile walk covering 26 football stadiums on 21st-23rd March. A number of ex-professional footballers are joining the walk including a core team of over 30 including Steph Houghton, Matt Holland, Jay Spearing, Chris Kirkland, Filipe Morais, Martin Kelly and Stuart Barlow.
