We understand that allegations of anti-semitic remarks made by the former Enfield Town FC manager have been referred to the Community Security Trust, who have the responsibility of monitoring anti-semitic activities and incidents and represent British Jewry to the Police and other official bodies.
Wingate and Finchley FC have directed all of the Club witnesses to assist with any official investigation. The allegations of anti-semitic remarks being made cannot be commented on at this time by our club and we cannot add anything further at this point.
However Wingate and Finchley Football Club remains determined to do whatever is necessary to assist in the eradication of anti-semitic or racist remarks from Football and society in general.
