Three players called up to Middlesex County

Three young first team squad members - Gavin Suddell, Jack Read and Joe Sharpe - were called up to the Middlesex County Senior team to play The Army on Wednesday 29th October. Suddell and Sharpe both started the match - playing right-midfield and right-back respectively. The game started brightly for both players but an experienced Middlesex team made two errors in quick succession and the county side went in 3-0 down at the break. The second half saw the introduction of Read who managed to get a decent shot away shortly after he entered the match. However the second half lacked the same momentum of the first, though both sides scored in quick succession. Going into the closing stages Middlesex scored once more to make the score 4-2 with a few seconds on the clock.
